Abraham Lincoln: best actor

Lincoln's Portayal of Lewis
Congratulations to Abraham Lincoln for winning the Oscar for best actor in his role as Daniel Day-Lewis.

Apparently, this is the third time that Abraham Day-Lincoln has won an Oscar, something that has never been done before by a former President of the United States of America.

Lincoln’s performance as Day-Lewis, a character actor from Sidcup, shone through as the performance to beat. The film started with Night-Lewis’ life when he went into business as the owner of a very nice laundrette in Birmingham in 1978.

It then covered his rebellious phase when he was a punk-rocker and affected a Mohican hair cut, which by sheer coincidence was one of the last people to have a Mohican at that time somewhere in North America.

Lincoln’s performance as Afternoon-Lewis when he was commonly known as Bill and worked in a butcher’s shop was the outstanding moment of the film. I say that as I actually was outside standing smoking my pipe.

Last-Week-Lewis was also at the ceremony but was unable to stand up as his right foot was missing or was it his left foot. Anyway it was his left foot and not my left foot.

Anyway, the whole evening was eventually ruined after Abraham Lincoln had accepted the Oscar. He went and sat down on his arse and it was as he was eating a cheese sandwish a man called Lee Harvey Oswald sneaked up behind him, shot him in the back and ran away. Very sad.
